For salt mills, a commercial grade of stainless steel is used. This is done to help keep the salt from corroding the grinder mechanism. For Peugeot Fidji mills, the grind is adjusted by turning the top nut. Mills are made using high quality beech wood with a brushed stainless steel top. The adjustable top nut allows you to set your grind from fine to coarse. For Salt use only. Matching pepper grinder versions available also.
