Pappardelle Pasta

Pappardelle originates from Tuscany. This pasta gets its name from the verbpapparein Italian meaning to gobble up. This pasta is perfect for a variety of sauces, but is a wonderful addition to hardy and rich sauces as the wide noodles can hold up to the weight of heavier sauces.

1. Bring 4-6 qt water to a boil and place one Pasta Rock or 1 Tbsp salt in water.
2. Let Pasta Rock boil with water for 1-3 minutes deepening on your salt preference an the size of the Pasta Rock
3. Remove Pasta Rock with slotted spoon; set aside for another use. Pasta Rocks can be used until they full dissolve.
4. Use salted water to cook pasta for5-6 minutes uncovered. Drain and toss with your favorite EVOO.
